Case study · Industry
Seven product families that only sell when you see them, and a quote that can never be a price list. The site had to do both.
The client
Olcina Rótulos designs, manufactures and installs custom signs from Valdemoro (Madrid), with more than twenty years in the trade and coverage across Spain and Portugal.
A manufacturer like this doesn't lack work: the problem is that the product can't be shown as a list. A shopfront sign, a set of built-up letters and a vehicle wrap have nothing in common, not in price and not in process, and the customer who calls doesn't always know which one they want.
Every job depends on measurements, materials and lighting. The site had to lead to a quote, not to a shopping cart.

The starting point
What had to be solved before talking about colours.
What we did
One page per product family, and every road leading to the same form.
Each family has its own page with its own explanation, photos and jobs. Someone searching for «built-up letters» lands on built-up letters, not on a generic home page.
Photos of completed jobs aren't decoration: they are the catalogue. Optimised so they can be browsed without punishing load time.
Every product page is written to be found by whoever is searching for that product, whether they are in Madrid, Alicante or Lisbon.
